The Artist

Chrissy, A Work In Progress  

Chrissy’s philosophy is to leave the world a better place.  

She has lived both in England and Brazil, feeling equally at home in both worlds.

Her career covers a wide range of disciplines including painting, printmaking, photography, murals, tattoo design, fabric design, graphic design and living art.

She has taught in schools and adult education and developed a pictorial minuting system for illiterate rural workers in the North East of Brazil.   Her silk screened prints have been distributed through Heals, Fortnum and Mason, Paperchase and Selfridges.  She has held exhibitions in the UK and Brazil as well as undertaking commissions for murals and portraits.

Recently Chrissy has focussed her interest in line and colour through paintings, pastels and silkscreens of the human body and commissions for portraits and tattoos.

Her excitement and vision is contagious and her series of radical CAN’T DRAW! courses are for all those who think they can’t because she knows they can.
